MoneyGram announces new $5 pricing promotion for Fil-Am customers

From June 15-October 15, MoneyGram customers in Honolulu, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, San Diego, San Francisco and Washington D.C. can send money to family and friends in the Philippines for as little as $5 when sending $1,000 or more.

“MoneyGram’s focus is to bring our customers closer together through this pricing promotion and our reliable 275,000 agent-strong network,” said Alex Lim, country manager of the Philippines, MoneyGram.

MoneyGram’s promotion is designed to encourage customers to adopt its direct-to-bank transfer service, which allows consumers to conveniently and securely deposit money directly into the bank accounts of their family and friends in the Philippines.

MoneyGram launched the product in 2011 to provide customers with more options when sending money to loved ones in the Philippines.

The promotion is part of the company’s global “Moneygrado sa MoneyGram” campaign, which seeks to build awareness and affinity for the brand and its services among Filipino consumers around the world.
